Discoveries to Impact Month's Innovation Week highlights innovators and entrepreneurs creating an impact in West Texas. As DTI comes to an end, this week we celebrate the accomplishments of our innovators, startups, scholars, and researchers! Join us at the events below as we wrap up this month.

Innovative Research Poster Showcase

2:30PM-6:00PM

TTUHSC Academic Event Center

 

Come and meet students from Texas Tech Health Sciences Center, the TTU College of Engineering, and the Rawls College of Business. Also, learn more about the local Sling Health Chapter, a university Student Life-supported pre-incubator program that unites student teams with clinicians and local entrepreneurs to begin healthcare solution development and commercialization in the areas of device, diagnostics, and digital health. Attendees will have the opportunity to browse the posters and vote on their favorite projects. Attendees will vote on 2 awards: Best Research Project by a Healthcare Student and Best Research Project by an Engineering Student. The projects that receive the highest votes in each category will win the $500 People's Choice.

CISER Undergraduate Research Scholars (URS), plus invited alumni and guests, convene for our 20th anniversary of our Undergraduate Research Retreat at the TTU Center at Junction, TX. The retreat offers hands-on field experiences and engaging talks from visiting alumni. The weekend retreat wraps up our DTI month and helps establish camaraderie and cement these valuable relationships within the TTU research community.
