ECO 3302 - Intermediate Macroeconomics

Prerequisite: C- or higher in ECO 2302.  Prerequisite or corequisite: MATH 1451, MATH 1330 or MATH 1331.  Analysis of the determinants of aggregate demand and supply with special emphasis on macroeconomic problems such as unemployment and inflation and on techniques used to forecast macroeconomic variables.

ECO 3307 - Introduction to Econometrics

Prerequisite: C- or higher in ECO 2301, ECO 2302 and MATH 2300 or MATH 2345. Application of linear regression analysis including simple statistics, probability, distributions, hypothesis testing, and linear regression. (CL)

Competition strategy and legal limits on what firms can and cannot do when competing. In-depth review of antitrust laws and full-blown economic regulation.

Prerequisite: C or higher in ECO 3302 or ECO 3301 or consent of instructor.  Completion of ECO 3372 or a course with similar content is recommended.  Introductory course in machine learning for economists.  Emphasis on understanding and applying supervised and unsupervised learning techniques to address real-world chanllenges.
