Department of Environmental Toxicology, Texas Tech University Recruiting a Graduate
Student in the area of Molecular Toxicology with Departmental Fellowship
Dr. Kamaleshwar P Singh ( Kamaleshwar.singh@ttu.edu) is recruiting a doctoral graduate student to join his lab. Departmental graduate student fellowship is available for this position. Applicants should hold an MS degree in molecular toxicology or a related field in life sciences and have a background in molecular biology. The focus of his laboratory is to understand the molecular toxicological mechanism associated with human kidney disease as well as cancer in the target organs such as kidney, breast, and prostate cancers. More specifically, his research group is investigating the role of mitochondrial dysfunction and oxidative stress associated with epigenetic mechanisms underlying kidney disease and carcinogenesis by environmental toxicants. The student, through these projects, will receive outstanding scientific training in molecular toxicology and biomedical research using both in vitro cell culture and in vivo mice models.
