Coming up soon At the TTEC
HF&C proudly hosts the annual Eric Hill Memorial Team Roping at the Texas Tech Equestrian Center, bringing ropers and the community together in honor of Eric Hill’s legacy. This meaningful event features a full day of team roping, fellowship, and support, with proceeds benefiting local causes in Eric’s memory. Join us at the TTEC for a day that celebrates great competition and the spirit of giving.
The Texas Tech Equestrian Team is open to any undergraduate student, regardless of major or classification who wants to ride and compete on a collegiate level. "Catch Riding" is what makes the IHSA format different and more difficult than any other. Each rider in a class draws a horse out of a hat, and with no warm up goes into the show ring to compete for individual & team points.
The Texas Tech Equestrian Center is proud to host the Panhandle Reined Cow Horse Association (PRCHA) Show, bringing competitors from across the region to showcase their skills in reining, boxing, and working cow horse classes. This event highlights the athleticism of cow horses and the dedication of their riders while supporting a strong tradition of performance horse competition in West Texas.
