The Marjie Collins Early Connections for Lifelong Learning Conference

A conference presented by the Helen Jones Foundation and the Christine DeVitt & Helen DeVitt Jones Child Development Research Center at Texas Tech.

Please join us for our early childhood conference. This conference is ideal for educators, caregivers, students, parents, or anyone who wants to learn effective strategies for developing meaningful connections with children. You will also have the opportunity to tour the CDRC facility, meet our teachers and visit our classroom environments. We hope to see you there.

We also have some registration scholarships and training scholarships after the conference during the spring semester. 

What to expect:

• Continental Breakfast (included in the registration fee)
• Catered lunch (included in the registration fee)
• 6 clock hours of training

• Check or money order (by mail, in person at the CDRC office, or onsite on the day of the conference)
• Credit card (in person at the CDRC office, by phone, or on-site the day of the conference)

Scholarship Application

Thank you for your interest in attending the 2025 Marjie Collins Early Connections for Lifelong Learning Conference!  We appreciate your commitment to improving the lives of young children. The CDRC will award up to 30 conference registration scholarships to individuals/programs that are not currently CCS providers. (CCS providers are eligible to request registration reimbursement through CCS- contact your mentor for any questions).

Please submit your application as soon as possible and before January 20th, 2025. Applications will be considered in the order they are received. You will receive notification of scholarship within 5 business days and will then be prompted to register for the conference.

• Early Registration - $40 (through Jan. 20^th)
• Registration - $50 (after Jan. 20^th or at the door)
