Overview:

The Center for Adolescent Resiliency is privileged to offer an Follow My Lead leadership conference for 8th grade students attending Lubbock ISD's Margaret Talkington School for Young Women Leaders. This conference is created to meet the needs of students while embodying the mission and vision of the United Future Leaders program. This is a one-of-a-kind leadership development four-day conference. Students engage in hands-on learning activities, skill-building activities, and healthy personal development.

FAQ

What does the conference entail?

This conference is facilitated during the day and participants will take an active role in their leadership development. Furthermore, the tools each participant will walk away with will empower them to serve not only their family and school, but also the community and in their future careers.

Breakfast, lunch and snacks will be provided.

Who can attend?

This conference is exclusively for incoming 8th grade girls attending Lubbock ISD's Margaret Talkington School for Young Women Leaders.
