Biomechanics, Mechanobiology, and Biomaterials Laboratory

Welcome to the Biomechanics, Mechanobiology, and Biomaterials Laboratory!

Our research interest is in the three broad areas: (1) Biomechanics in Cardiovascular disease; (2) Biomaterials, tissue engineering, and drug delivery; and (3) Cell dynamics, cell migration, and their clinical relevance.

We developed a research platform integrated experimental and computational approaches to fully interrogate the dynamic parameters of biomechanics. The novel data-driven mathematical model involves time series data analysis, signal processing, and real-time image processing for AFM, confocal, and phase contrast microscopies.
