An Introduction to Italian Language and Culture

Whether you are preparing for a trip to Italy or just want a little more context for your next venture in Italian cuisine, this course will help round out your knowledge of the culture and language of the country. We will explore the fundamentals of Italian literature, art, fashion, music and food, all while learning some basic language skills that will serve you well in your next Italian encounter at home or abroad.
Instructor Sarah Cantor, Ph.D., is the Italian Foundations director in the Department of Classical and Modern Languages and Literatures at Texas Tech University and holds a doctorate in Italian from the University of California, Los Angeles.
