Red Raider Orientation Crew and Red Raider Camp Counselors

About the Positions


Welcome new students and their families to Texas Tech Share your knowledge about life as a Red Raider Lead small group discussions with incoming students Guide students and their guests around campus	Teach incoming students about the history and traditions at Texas Tech Embrace your Red Raider Pride in small and large groups Compete against other small groups in fun games and activities Serve as a peer mentor to new students

In order to be considered for a position with Orientation Services, a student must meet the following:

Be a full-time student during Fall 2026 and Spring 2027

Be and remain in good academic / disciplinary standing with the University

Have and maintain a cumulative 2.5 GPA

Attend all trainings, retreats and days that you are hired to work:

The application will require you to answer a few questions and submit a resume. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to select which program you are applying for—RRO Crew or RRC Counselor! Click the button below to start your application.

Applications are due by 11:59 p.m. on January 24, 2027.

Students that submit an application by the deadline, and meet all qualifications, will be invited to the group interview process. Attendance is required to be considered for a position on our team.

8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Specific times will be communicated week of.

Selected students will be invited to attend a scheduled individual interview.

February 1-12, 2027
Specific slots will be communicated after Group Process.
Offers will be made February 12, 2027.
