Red Raider Family Scholarship 2025/2026

Applications for the Red Raider Family Scholarship closed February 17, 2025. 

Applications submitted are currently under review.

The PFR Scholarships will be awarded in April 2025.

Scholarship Overview

The Red Raider Family Scholarship is available to currently enrolled or returning undergraduate and graduate students at Texas Tech University for the 2025-2026 academic year.

Five (5) scholarships, each worth $1,000, will be awarded.

Scholarships will be applied to tuition and fees for the 2025-2026 academic year.

Eligibility Requirements

To apply, you must meet the following criteria:

• Currently enrolled at Texas Tech during the 2024/2025 academic year.
• Enrolled full-time at Texas Tech University for the Fall 2025 and Spring 2026 semesters (unless graduating in December 2025).
• Have a minimum GPA of 2.75 (institutional and current).
• Both undergraduate and graduate students are eligible to apply.

How to Apply

Ensure you have the following ready before applying:

• Resume (in PDF format only; other formats will not be accepted).
• Essay Responses to the following questions (prepare these in advance and copy/paste into the application form - up to 500 words, each):
  • • Write an essay explaining the importance of parent and family involvement in your personal and academic success as you pursue your college degree.
    • In essay form, describe how receiving this scholarship will support your educational goals and, if applicable, help you overcome any financial challenges.

Scholarships will be awarded in April 2025 for the 2025/2026 Academic Year.
