Joseph Coll is Assistant Professor of Political Science at Texas Tech University. He received his M.A. and Ph.D. from the University of Iowa and his B.A. from Buena Vista University.

Dr. Coll’s research focuses on the determinants of election access and administration, how election access and administration affect political behavior and public opinion, and how this then goes on to affect public policy, with much of this work focusing on Black, Latino, and young Americans. His work has appeared in American Politics Research; Election Law Journal: Rules, Politics, and Policy; Journal of Race, Ethnicity, and Politics; Public Opinion Quarterly; and Politics, Groups, and Identities, among others, as well as an edited volume on how the COVID-19 pandemic influenced the 2020 presidential election.
