Degree Programs

Students admitted to the University can earn a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. The political science curriculum is designed to provide students with a solid foundation and broad understanding of the discipline of political science and allow them to specialize in areas of particular substantive interest. Political science provides excellent instruction for students interested in politics, law, journalism, teaching, or civil service. The Political Science Department offers several fields of study for students interested in both majoring and minoring in political science. These fields of study include: American Politics, Comparative Politics, International Relations, Public Administration, Political Theory, Public Law, Public Policy, Research Methods, and Survey Research.
