Clear Bag Policy

A clear bag policy is in effect for all commencement ceremonies. Guests will be able to carry the following style and size bag, package or container into the venue:

• Bags that are clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and do not exceed 12" x 6" x 12.
• One-gallon clear plastic freezer bag (Ziploc bag or similar).
• Small clutch bags, approximately the size of a hand, with or without a handle or strap, can be taken into the venue with one of the clear plastic bags.
• An exception will be made for medically necessary items after proper inspection.

Prohibited Actions and Items

• Behaviors that disrupt or interfere with any aspect of the commencement ceremonies
• Use of tobacco products and electronic cigarettes
• Backpacks, purses and bags
• Firearms, including concealed carry, explosives and other weapons
• Studded/spiked jewelry
• Moshing
• Cans, coolers and other containers
• Artificial noisemakers
• Large signs (no larger than shoulder width), flags, sticks (including selfie sticks), poles and banners
• Laser pointers
• Animals other than aid animals
• Helium balloons
• Outside food and drinks
• Any item or action deemed to threaten public safety

 

YOU MAY BE EJECTED FROM THE VENUE WITHOUT THE OPPORTUNITY TO RETURN FOR ANY OF THE ABOVE VIOLATIONS.

All guests entering the venue are subject to search. Refusal may be grounds to prohibit admission.
