Adult Learn To Swim
Texas Tech University Recreation is proud to offer the American Red Cross Learn-To-Swim program as part of our Aquatic Programming. The Learn-To-Swim Program begins with the basics of swimming and water acclimation (i.e. breath control through mouth and nose while underwater, movement, etc..) and progresses through stroke introduction, development, and refinement, in addition to diving and other deep-water skills (i.e. treading, survival swimming). The American Red Cross Learn-to-Swim program also includes valuable tips, tricks, and practices that will create a respect for and recognition of how to safely enjoy the aquatic environment.
