Anushka manages the commercialization of life science technologies working with faculty and students to identify patentable inventions having strong commercial value.

Anushka Shinde is a Licensing Associate with the Office of Research Commercialization. She is responsible for managing technologies developed within the College of Arts & Sciences, the College of Health & Human Sciences, and the Honors College. Her primary focus is on identifying, marketing, and commercializing these innovations by connecting them with suitable industry partners.

Anushka holds a bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology form Amity University, Mumbai where her research focused on developing a diagnostic test for a rare class of disorders known as mitochondrial diseases. She also earned a master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, Georgia. Before joining the ORC, Anushka interned as a Licensing Intern at the Office of Technology Transfer at Emory University, where she worked primarily with medical innovations.
