Community Health Alert

The City of Lubbock Health Department has confirmed mosquitoes carrying West Nile virus in the Lubbock area. People over 50 and those with other health issues have a higher risk of becoming seriously ill; most recover on their own.

Symptoms include headache, fever, muscle and joint aches, nausea and fatigue. Take steps to protect yourself from bites including using an EPA registered insect repellent and visit your doctor if you are concerned about being infected. Read the full article here>>
