Chemical and Universal Waste Collection Requests Close Monday, July 12th
Chemical and Universal Waste will not be collected July 13th through July 27th. EHS staff will be preparing hazardous waste streams for transport to a treatment, storage, and disposal facility (TSDF) by the University's hazardous waste contractor. The Chemical and Universal waste collection request forms close at midnight on Monday, June 12th.
Biological Waste will be collected as scheduled (each Wednesday morning) and all normal waste stream collection operations will resume Tuesday, August 3, 2021.

Heat Stress - Do you know the signs?
It's getting HOT out there Raider family. While everyone enjoys some fun in the sun, getting too hot can result in a spectrum of illness collectively called "heat stress". Heat stress ranges from mild signs like heat rash to a severe and sometimes fatal illness called heat stroke.
Being aware of the signs and symptoms of the different stages of heat stress can save your life or someone else's. Visit the CDC/NIOSH website to learn more about who is most at risk and how to recognize and respond to the different stages of heat stress. CDC/NIH releases 6th ed. of BMBL
The much-anticipated 6th edition of the Biosafety in Microbiological & Biomedical Laboratories has been released! Review the 6th Edition of the BMBL. This edition replaces the previous in campus work area requiring a copy.
