Located inside the Experimental Sciences Building II in the center of the Texas Tech campus, the Teaching Integrity & Personnel Safety, or TIPS, Lab is a dedicated training space that offers the Texas Tech community a unique opportunity for hands-on safety training. 

Training delivered in the TIPS Lab focuses on providing a safe space to instruct personnel about lab hazards while utilizing non-hazardous substances to develop manual proficiencies prior to exposure in the work area. Classes are held monthly and by request for research groups, student organizations, departments, etc. Available classes can be found on the homepage calendar and the registration request.

The TIPS Lab is supported by the Department of Environmental Health & Safety with the Office of Research & Innovation and sponsored by ThermoScientific and their partners.
