Research Slam

Join us for a night of treats and scholarship! The Research Slam offers faculty a space to present their research in a creative, accessible way for a broad audience. Build your presentation skills in a supportive environment. Each presenter will have 3 minutes and no visual aids.

All faculty are welcome to attend. After presentations, chat with presenters and other attendees to learn more about research across campus. Heavy hor d'oeuvres available. 

Proposal Guidelines

 Selected proposals will best align with the call and event theme of Halloween & Beyond. 

• Deadline to submit a proposal is Wednesday, October 22 by 11:59 PM CST.
• Submit a 50-75 word abstract of your 3 minute proposed presentation.
  How does your presentation connect—loosely or directly—to the Halloween theme?
• Proposals accepted for presentation will be notified of the decision by Monday, October 20th at 5:00 PM CST.
