Amy Cook serves as the Senior Associate Vice President for Research Operations at Texas Tech University.

In this role, she oversees the Office of Research Services, the Office of Research Intelligence and Metrics, the Office of Export and Security Compliance, and provides strategic support for Research Facilities. She also serves as the university’s Research Security Officer.

Amy earned her Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Texas Tech University in 1998 and her Juris Doctor from Texas Tech University School of Law in 2002. Following a successful first career as a prosecutor and private practice attorney, she returned to her alma mater in 2012 to begin her work in research administration.

Amy is inspired daily by her husband and two sons.
