David currently serves as the Senior Director of Research Facilities for the Office of Research & Innovation. In this role, he oversees infrastructure management and physical operations of the research facilities that are under the OR&I administration, including the Experimental Sciences Buildings I & II, East Loop Research Building and the Innovation Hub at Research Park. 

He also serves as a representative for the OR&I on various committees and works with other TTU departments on issues related to building construction, renovation and safety and has represented the department as a speaker at research facilities management and design conferences.  Prior to joining Texas Tech in 2005, David served as a Health Unit Coordinator and later as Lease Property Manager for University Medical Center in Lubbock, and possesses over 20 years of building operations management, leasing and customer service experience.

David is a Lubbock native and graduated Cum Laude from Lubbock Christian University with a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Management in 2001.
