Missy Jenkins currently serves as Director for the Office of Research Development & Communications (ORDC) in the Office of Research & Innovation. In this role she will assist faculty in proposal development for large, multi-disciplinary grants. She will also work with new faculty in identifying future and current funding opportunities that align with faculty research interests and institutional strengths, as well as coordinating and supporting grantsmanship workshops and events.

Missy received her Bachelor of Music Education from Stetson University in DeLand, Florida, a Master of Science in Education from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and a Master of Public Policy and Administration from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Missy hopes to continue her education in pursuit of a doctorate during her time at Texas Tech.
