Missy Jenkins Ramey currently serves as Assistant Vice President for Research Development, Research Communications & Strategic Research and interim director for the Office of Research Development & Communications. Prior to Texas Tech, she served as the Research Development Coordinator at The University of Tennessee.

Missy received her Bachelor of Music Education from Stetson University in DeLand, Florida, a Master of Science in Education from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and a Master of Public Policy and Administration from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Missy hopes to continue her education in pursuit of a doctorate during her time at Texas Tech.
