Kumar manages the commercialization of physical science technologies working with faculty and students to identify patentable inventions having strong commercial value.

Kumar Harikrishnan is a Licensing Associate with the Office of Research Commercialization and the newest addition to the ORC team.  His primary focus will be working closely with researchers from the Whitacre College of Engineering to commercialize their inventions. Kumar holds a Ph.D. in Cadiovascular Flow Dynamics from the Indian Institute of Technology in Bombay, India as well as BE degree in Aeronautical Engineering from Anna University, India.  Kumar has worked in industry as a Senior Design Engineer for Becton Dickinson and as a Research Engineer in the Cardiovascular Fluid Mechanics Laboratory at The Georgia Institute of Technology.
