Sharon Zhu serves as Programmer Analyst IV for the Office of Research Services. She is responsible for annual F&A expenditure processing, and annual College Metrics research expenditures processing. In her role, she writes SQL queries, creates Cognos reports, and designs Power BI Dashboards. She also manages the departmental SQL server database and assists in the deployment and maintenance of the departmental web application. Additionally, she assists with adhoc research reports.

Sharon earned her Master's in Management Information System from the University of Illinois at Springfield. She worked for Tennessee State University as a Programmer Analyst before coming to Texas. She has been working at Texas Tech University since 2007. At TTU, she worked for Information Systems(IS), and Data Management for Financial Resources (DMFR) as a Programmer Analyst before joining the Office of Reservice Services.
