Effective January 1st 2025:

To ensure high-quality care and the financial sustainability of Student Health Services, copays and deductibles will be collected for certain qualifying services starting in the Spring 2025 semester. This update is necessary to maintain the level of care that Texas Tech students expect and deserve and is also a legal requirement. The amount charged will depend on each student's individual health insurance plan. This change will also impact students who elect to self-pay.

Student Health Services remains committed to offering a wide range of on-campus services, including primary care, mental health support, sports medicine, laboratory and pharmacy services, and more. Our goal remains unchanged: we aim to provide students with near-instant access to healthcare and the support they need for both physical and mental well-being.
