Lubbock Community Clinic and Hospital Guide

If you seeking care after hours or on the weekend while Student Health Services is closed, please consider the following community resources that may be an option for you. Any charges incurred at the clinics below are not covered under your medical service fee and are your responsibility. For those who have insurance coverage, it is always best to check your insurance carrier’s website to see which local providers are in your insurance network. Check the back of your insurance card for your insurance carrier’s website information. 

Tip: For future appointments, request your appointment with as much advance notice as possible. Also consider requesting your appointment through the My TeamCare portal or HealtheLife app. These appointment requests are usually scheduled before the phones turn on in the morning, giving you "first come first serve" advantage. If you do not have the portal, please ask a Student Health Patient Service specialist to get you signed up.

Student Health Services offers an after-hours on-call physician to help answer emergent healthcare questions and concerns. The physician may encourage the patient to seek emergency care, visit an urgent care in the area, or wait until Student Health Services is open again and they can make an appointment. They can be reached after hours by calling the Student Health Clinic at 806.743.2848.

AHP subscribers can visits member.teladoc.com/aetna to access a provider through Telemedicine. Copays will apply.
