Memorial Circle

Arbor Day is an annual event that provides an opportunity for students, faculty, and staff to join together to beautify the Tech campus, build a sense of community, and receive recognition. Activities on the circle and planting alongside other Red Raiders makes this one of the most anticipated events each spring.

Izzy Money Sustainable Fashion Pop-up
Come to a pop-up store front and learn more about Sustainable clothing.

April 22 | UREC Climbing Wall | 5 - 7 p.m.

Rock Climbing at UREC Climbing Wall
Let's Rock! Join SAB and UREC at the UREC Climbing Wall for a night of eco-friendly fun!

April 23 | SUB SGA Office, Room 302 | 11 a.m.- 2 p.m.

Clothing Drive: Women's Protective Services
Donate women's and baby clothes/items to help support Women's Protective Services. Drop-off boxes will be located in the SGA Office, Room 302.

April 24 | Red Raider Plaza | 11 a.m.- 2 p.m.

Bloomin' Basil
E3 Farms will be handing out basil plants for Sustainability Week, sharing where to find local produce in Lubbock, and answering any plant questions.

April 25 | Red Raider Plaza | 12 - 2 p.m.

Eco-Fair
Attend the Eco-Fair and learn tips and tricks to help lower your carbon footprint.

Arbor Day is an annual event that provides an opportunity for students, faculty, and staff to join together to beautify the Tech campus, build a sense of community, and receive recognition. The highlights of Arbor Day's activities on the Memorial Circle featured complimentary hot dogs and chips & T-shirts with a TTU student ID, MYO Herb Garden, Decorate Your Own Kite, Decorate Your Own Reusable Tote, Yard Games, and Live Music, and the tradition of planting alongside fellow Red Raiders, making it a highly anticipated event each spring.
