TTU Undergraduate Research Conference 2020 is Going Virtual!


Welcome to the new virtual home for the 2020 TTU Undergraduate Research Conference! We are excited to host student submissions from both our Oral and Poster sessions! Students and faculty members - it is not too late to be featured in our virtual presentation session. If you would like to submit a project, please review the instructions below. Do not hesitate to contact the TTU Center for Transformative Undergraduate Experiences if you have any questions!

Information for Undergraduate Student Presenters

We are so sorry to miss out on the chance to meet you all in-person!

  1. If you were accepted to present a poster or oral presentation at URC 2020, you are already accepted to present your work in our new virtual conference format.
  2. We want to make sure you still have the opportunity to contribute your work to the conference, and we are committed to keeping this virtual conference website online long-term to support listing your presentation on applications, CVs, etc.
  3. Detailed information depending on your presentation format will be listed below, but please do not hesitate to contact us at true@ttu.edu if you have questions!
Presentation Format Acceptable Presentation Format Submission Instructions
Poster Presentations .pdf
  1. Export a digital copy of your poster to a .pdf file
  2. Attach .pdf file to an email with subject line "URC 2020 Poster File Submission" and the following information in the body of your email:
    • Presentation Title
    • Presenter 1 Name
    • Presenter 2 Name (if applicable)
  3. Send the email to true@ttu.edu
Oral Presentations  .pdf of slides and/or link to presentation recording on YouTube.com
  1. If you would like to submit a digital copy of your presentation slides, please export a digital copy to a .pdf file
  2. If you would like to submit a video recording of your oral presentation, please record yourself presenting your research and upload the video to YouTube.com (note: due to technical restrictions, we cannot accept video files as email attachments or on other video serving platforms)
  3. Prepare an email with subject line "URC 2020 Oral Presentation File Submission" and the following information in the body of your email:
    • Presentation Title
    • Presenter 1 Name
    • Presenter 2 Name (if applicable)
    • (if applicable) Link to your recorded presentation on YouTube.com
  4. (if applicable) Attach .pdf file containing slides
  5. Send the email to true@ttu.edu

Information for URC Reviewers, Judges, and Volunteers

Out of respect for the significant efforts being invested in COVID-19 response preparations, the virtual conference will not incorporate a formal reviewing or judging process. We do invite you to stay tuned and check out the wonderful student work!
