Refund Policy

Trips

General Refunds: Trip participants will receive a full refund if Outdoor Pursuits cancels the trip due to low enrollment, weather, or other external factors. If a trip participant fails to show up for a trip when it runs, no refund will be granted.

Cancellations: Participants may cancel any time before the trip. Trip participants may receive a full refund if they notify a student trip leader of their cancellation:

1)    24 hours after participant has registered 

2)    5 business days before trip departure

For extended trips (one week or more), participants must put down a deposit at registration and pay in full one week before trip departure. The deposit is nonrefundable. If a participant cancels and has paid in full, they will not receive their paid amount back unless someone takes their spot.

Exceptions may be made on a case-by-case basis. Please contact the student trip leader regarding participation questions.

Reservations

Refunds: If an item was destroyed or faulty when the renter received the item, the customer may receive a refund at the discretion of Outdoor Pursuits professional staff.

Cancellations: You will receive a full refund 3 business days prior to pick up day. If you fail to cancel by this deadline, you will receive a 50% refund on your reservation. (EX: Your pickup day is Friday. Cancel at the end of business on Tuesday to receive a full refund. Wednesday and every day after that, you will only receive a 50% refund).
