The 2024–2025 academic year marks the first full implementation cycle of the strategic plan. Following the Laboratory Year of discovery and pilot initiatives, this year emphasizes designed systems—embedding what worked, refining processes, and expanding successful practices. Actions focus on strengthening community connections, building cross-college collaboration, and aligning creative initiatives with institutional priorities, while maintaining the flexibility to adapt as new insights emerge.

A valuesanchored, living plan for AY 2025–2026 — grounded in Curiosity, Creativity, Care, Principled Conduct, and Sense of Community.
The 2025–2026 plan year marks the next stage of our values-anchored, FRACTALS-guided strategic plan. Each cycle builds directly on the last, carrying forward actions that remain relevant, adding new initiatives that reflect our current priorities, and refining approaches based on what we have learned together.
What makes this plan distinctive is its dynamic nature: it does not sit on a shelf but instead evolves in real time to reflect what we are doing now. By cross-referencing new actions with those from previous years, we ensure continuity of effort while also signaling growth and change, as well as reflecting that what we do often traverses strategic priorities. Actions that remain from year to year are not redundant—they are continuous commitments that require ongoing attention, resources, and refinement.
For 2025–2026, we have also embedded our values—Curiosity, Creativity, Care, Principled Conduct, and Sense of Community—into the monitoring process itself. This means every action is evaluated not only on outcomes but also on how well it aligns with and strengthens our values culture.
Other improvements to the plan this year include:
- Clearer cross-referencing between goals, initiatives, and actions.
- Stronger feedback loops to ensure voices across the College are reflected.
- Expanded monitoring tools to track both measurable outcomes and cultural alignment.
- Annual emphasis created to express the strategic planning phase.
- This evolving approach ensures that our strategic plan remains living, responsive, and resilient, equipping us to adapt while staying firmly grounded in our values and mission.

Potential Updates on the Horizon
- Approval of 2025-2026 documents, which should go up fairly quickly by convocation.
- Additional language update, should new branding approach be approved.
