He will address the tornado threat affecting the South Plains each spring, advising students of the role played by the media in alerting local residents to the potential dangers posed by this local severe weather phenomenon, and insuring that they are aware of the safety precautions that they should take.  Representative students from each school in attendance will assist Mr. Robison in a live demonstration of producing a “Tornado in a Bottle.”  Students will be able to ask Mr. Robison questions about severe weather.  At the end of the program, students will create a "Safe Place Map" of their home to use in case of severe weather.
