Mutual Respect Module
Principle in Practice
The Matador Ethics Video Challenge (MEVC) has been held since Fall 2009 to showcase students' creativity and video talents, and to further the campus conversation on ethics. Each Challenge features one of the principles in the Statement of Ethical Principles, and is between 30 and 45 seconds long.
In Fall 2010, the theme was Community Service and Leadership, and students submitted more than 60 videos. Past prizes have included JumboTron screenings of winning videos at TTU football games, screenings at the TTUS Board of Regents meetings, luncheons with President Bailey and Provost Smith, and meet-and-greet sessions with basketball and football coaches Kristy Curry and Tommy Tuberville.
Here is one of the best student-submitted videos on Mutual Respect that we've received in the last two years.
