Possible careers in publishing that fit well with an HDFS are editorial work—reading manuscripts, developing ideas, production staff—overseeing the manufacture of books, copy editors and proofreaders, and sales.

    • Publicity and promotions managers are responsible for creating public awareness of the books they publish. They manage a team of staff members that concentrate on this goal.
  • Publishing Position
    • Publishes, markets, sells, and distributes a series of rule books and procedure manuals for trial lawyers. Must have extensive computer experience, extreme attention to detail, organizational skills, ability to learn quickly, oral and written communication skills.
