Peer Advisors Leading Students (PALS)
The College of Human Sciences is hiring Peer Advisors in the Advising Office to assist with Red Raider Orientation!
The College of Human Sciences Advising Office is hiring paid Peer Advisors Leading Students (PALS) to assist with Red Raider Orientation (RRO) this summer. The PALS student position primarily provides customer service to incoming students during RRO, working alongside our academic advisors.
Paid summer position
Requirements:
- Major within the College of Human Sciences
- 2.75 minimum GPA
- Availability to start May 25th for RRO Sessions
- Individual schedules will vary; however, the availability for hours to work will generally be between 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., from May 25 - August 2
Duties:
- Work up to 20 hours per week (paid)
- Greet and engage with all students attending RRO in a professional manner
- Answer questions for incoming students
- Give brief presentations on major options in the College of Human Sciences
- Demo Raiderlink, Raider Success Hub, and other student resources
