Show off in Style!
TECHstyle is a new event that the Department of Design has created to show off its students in style. For the second year, Apparel Design & Manufacturing and Interior Design Students were recognized during the same event. TECHstyle is a cocktail, hors d’oeuvres reception and fashion show that was held last May at the Civic Center here in Lubbock.

Real World of Design
Texas Tech’s largest class of interior designers ever fulfilled summer internships across the nation. The 67 design students interned in five states: New York, Florida, Tennessee, Texas, and California. Firms they worked for were some of the nation’s largest, most prestigious firms. From the world’s largest hospitality firms to the most exclusive custom residential firms, the students experienced the gamut of the profession.
