Texas Tech’s largest class of interior designers ever fulfilled summer internships across the nation. The 67 design students interned in five states: New York, Florida, Tennessee, Texas, and California. Firms they worked for were some of the nation’s largest, most prestigious firms. From the world’s largest hospitality firms to the most exclusive custom residential firms, the students experienced the gamut of the profession.

Dr. Huffman
Dr. Lynn Huffman, a faculty member at Texas Tech since 1980, is the Interim Chairperson of the Department of Design at Texas Tech University. Dr. Huffman has twice received the President's Excellence in Teaching Award and is a charter member of the Texas Tech Teaching Academy.
