• Shayla Swain was selected as a 2009-2010 NASA/Texas Space Grant Consortium Fellow.
• Dr. Iris V. Rivero received the 2009 Society of Manufacturing Engineers Outstanding Young Manufacturing Engineer Award, the award will be presented in June 2009 at SME Annual Conference in Philadelphia, PA.
