International Outreach & Operations
The International Outreach and Operations division was created to bring together all of the International Cultural Center’s outreach and operational activities under one umbrella. Comprised of K-12 Global Education Outreach (K-12 GEO), Community Outreach (art exhibits, speakers, etc.), ICC Room Rental, and the Passport Office, the International Outreach and Operations division exists to serve public, private, and home schools throughout the region; to bring cultural programming to the multiple and diverse South Plains communities and the TTU community; to provide for facility rental; and to offer full Passport Office services.
K-12 Global Education Outreach
The K-12 Global Education Outreach program broadens cultural understanding, promotes
good will among culture groups through educational experiences, and encourages the
pursuit of higher education through Texas Tech University. K-12 promotes cultural
awareness by supporting the development of students as global citizens using a standards-based
curriculum to incorporate critical thinking, brain-based learning, and 21st century

OIA Community Outreach
The mission of the International Cultural Center (ICC), the beautiful facility south
of the TTU Museum that houses the many diverse divisions of the Office of International
Affairs, is to maximize and synergize international dimensions of education for all
the multiple and diverse communities that it serves. The OIA Community Outreach division
maintains an ongoing program of lectures, diverse cultural and educational programming,
and numerous internationally-focused art exhibits annually.

The International Cultural Center (ICC) is a multi-use facility with two conference
rooms, a 189-seat auditorium, and a Hall of Nations that can accommodate up to two-hundred
people. Our attractive and unique public spaces make us a popular venue for conferences,
meetings, and special events. We feature constantly changing art exhibits in our three
gallery areas. The ICC is not just a venue, it’s a cultural experience.

The Office of International Affairs can take your passport photos and process your
passport application. Applications are available online at www.travel.state.gov, or at the Office of International Affairs.
