Program Overview

Costa Rica is a small Central American country, home to vast biodiversity and a rich blend of immigrant cultures. This program is based in the capital, San José, and offers cultural immersion, hands on field experience in a bilingual school, experiential learning opportunities, and Spanish classes. Classes will be held at LEAD University, and students will participate in field trips to some of the country’s must-see areas, such as DOKA Coffee Plantation, La Paz Waterfall Gardens, Irazú Volcano, and Manuel Antonio National Park.

  • EDSE 4399.260 Independent Study (3 Credits)
  • Course will be taught by Dr. Zinab Munoz

ESTIMATED PROGRAM FEE: $2,400
