♦Ellis Island:

For more than six decades [1892-1954] this immigrant station processed hundreds of thousands of people into the United States. Travel back to the early 1900's and experience what it was like to come to America as an immigrant. *Note: 5th Grade Only

SPECIAL PROGRAMS: THESE PROGRAMS ARE OFFERED IN MORNING AND AFTERNOON SESSIONS ON A SPECIFIC DAY AT THE ICC. THIS ALLOWS US TO SERVE A LARGER NUMBER OF STUDENTS. RESERVATIONS ARE MADE AT LEAST TWO WEEKS IN ADVANCE.

Join us as we examine the history and diverse culture of the African people. This program is designed to celebrate African-American history month. *The African American Mini Museum, featuring significant historical figures as named in the TEKS, is the only portion of this Kaleidoscope that is offered for OTR.
