Caviness Beef Packer is currently seeking a couple of bright, motivated students for our 2025 summer internship program.
We are looking for individuals who are eager to gain hands-on experience and would like to learn all the different areas associated with a meat packing company.

About the Internship
- 17-Week paid internship (May – August 2025).
- Fieldwork and professional development opportunities (research presentations).
- Assist with various research related activities regarding organic weed management in cotton.
- A competitive stipend which includes support for attending a local conference (Salary starting at $15/hr).
- Opportunity to earn up to 3 internship/ research credit hours (Summer or Fall) at Texas Tech University.
Who can apply
- Undergraduates (at any level) passionate about sustainable agriculture.
- Eager to gain a broad range of exposure to field research including integrated weed management (IWM) tactics used in both organic and conventional fields.
- Willing to stay in Lubbock, TX during the internship period.
