Dr. Ronald Phillips

Ronald Phillips is a Professor of Practice in both the Davis College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources and the College of Arts and Sciences at Texas Tech University. He also administers the Government and Public Service Internship Program through the Office of the President.

During his career at Texas Tech, Phillips has served in a variety of leadership roles, including Associate General Counsel, Special Assistant to the President, Chief of Staff, University Counsel, and Chief Compliance Officer. He is a licensed attorney, certified mediator, and licensed real estate broker, and he was selected to participate in the Harvard Management and Leadership in Education Program.

A native of Hale Center, Texas, and a proud Red Raider, Phillips earned three degrees from Texas Tech: a B.S. in Agricultural Economics, a B.S. in Financial Planning, and a Doctor of Jurisprudence (J.D.). He has received numerous teaching awards and was honored with the Distinguished Alumni Award from the Davis College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources.
