Dr. Stephen Devadoss received his PhD from Iowa State University. He is currently the Emabeth Thompson Endowed Professor in the Department of Agricultural and Applied Economics. He is a recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Southern Agricultural Economics Association and a Fellow of the Western Agricultural Economics Association.
He has published more than 180 articles in reputable journals and procured $7 million in grants. He has received 22 research awards (including Outstanding Journal Articles), 18 teaching awards (including the AAEA Graduate Teaching Award and Undergraduate Teaching Award), and 47 graduate mentoring awards (including the AAEA Mentoring Award, CWAE Mentoring Award). He has also helped his students publish more than 100 journal articles and receive 80 awards, including 20 thesis and dissertation awards from AAEA, WAEA, SAEA, and Texas Tech.
