Jaime Malaga, Ph.D.

Dr. Jaime Malaga is a professor in the Department of Agricultural and Applied Economics at Texas Tech University. His areas of expertise include agricultural trade, food marketing, and demand analysis. He worked previously with the Texas Agricultural Marketing Research Center at Texas A&M University and with the US Agency for International Development.  He received his Ph.D. in Agricultural Economics from Texas A&M University and has consulting experience with several funding agencies, including The World Bank, USAID, USDA, IDB, and IICA in several countries of Latin America, Africa and Asia.. He is fluent in French and Spanish.
