Enrolling in the Medieval and Renaissance Studies Graduate Certificate Program

If you are ALREADY admitted into the TTU Graduate School--either into a degree program or as a GRUD (Graduate student, undecided), you need to apply for the Certificate program through this link:

https://ttugradschool.force.com/admissions/ApplicationLogin

To actually complete the certificate work, you will subsequently need to file a second form: the “Graduate Certificate Program Plan”, which will need to be signed by a MRSC advisor and submitted to the Graduate School for approval before the second semester of enrollment in the program. Although the form does not require a second signature, the MRSC advisors ask that you also get this form signed by your major advisor if you are currently enrolled in a degree program. All degree plans for TTU graduate degrees—including graduate certificates--must be filed no later than the very start of the final semester prior to graduation (the Graduate School Web site posts the precise deadlines).

If you are NOT already admitted into the TTU Graduate School, then you must gain admission following the Graduate School's admission procedures. You also need to gain admission into the certificate program by indicating this goal on your application and by filling out a “Graduate Certificate Intent Form.” To actually complete the certificate work, you will subsequently need to file the “Graduate Certificate Program Plan”, which will need to be signed by a MRSC advisor. Degree plans for TTU graduate degrees must be filed no later than the very start of the final semester prior to graduation (the Graduate School Web site posts the precise deadlines).
