Hello, my name is Mikayla Castillo, and I am the Lead Teacher in the Firefly room. I graduated from Texas Tech University with a bachelor's degree in Human Development and Family Sciences. I started at Texas Tech Center for Early Head Start in 2022 as a Classroom Assistant and instantly fell in love with the program and the creative environment to help foster development in young children. My favorite part of working with little ones is watching them learn and experience new things, as well as helping them grow along the way!
