About the Program
The goal of the Master's degree in Special Education is to prepare professional educators with advanced competencies related to the Special Education field. Graduates are prepared to engage in collaboration with stakeholders to improve outcomes for students/clients in all relevant settings.
Students in the special education program are prepared to work with individuals with disabilities in a variety of settings, including the public schools, higher education and the private sector. There are specializations in the following areas:
