The Red Raider Inventor Hall of Fame recognizes exceptional researchers across the TTUS component institutions whose inventive contributions have advanced science, improved lives, and strengthened the innovation ecosystem of Texas and beyond. Established by Research Commercialization, this honor celebrates faculty and staff who have demonstrated an extraordinary commitment to invention and intellectual discovery during their time at Texas Tech.

Inductees are TTUS faculty and staff who have been named on three or more United States patents issued to the Texas Tech University System - a distinction that speaks to their sustained dedication to research and their meaningful contributions to innovation. This achievement not only honors individual excellence but also advances the standing of TTUS component institutions within the broader national innovation community, including recognition by the National Academy of Inventors (NAI).
