Dr. Laci Alexander is a Professor of Chemistry at South Plains College. She earned a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Texas Tech University in 2015. She has been involved in STEM Education and Research since 2016 with the NIH funded Plains Bridges to the Baccalaureate Program. The PBB Program aims to provide community college students the opportunity to engage in undergraduate research at TTU and explore various careers in the biomedical and behavioral sciences. She has also recently received funding from NSF for the HSI STEM Initiative grant to help plan STEM academic camps and improve STEM funding at SPC.
