Why Businesses Love Hub City Fest

Reach Thousands of New Students

More than 9,200 new students are expected this fall, with a total student body of over 41,000. At Hub City Fest 2024, we welcomed over 3,000 student attendees—many of whom are eager to explore Lubbock for the first time.

This is your chance to make a strong first impression with a brand-new audience.

Most Students Are New to Lubbock

Roughly 90% of incoming students are from outside a 70-mile radius of Lubbock. These students are actively looking for:

  • Where to eat
  • Where to shop
  • Where to work
  • Where to go for fun

Help them discover your business early—and build loyalty that lasts.

A One-of-a-Kind Opportunity to Connect

College students are natural brand ambassadors—if they love something, they spread the word fast. A great first impression at Hub City Fest can turn into loyal customers, future employees, and a lot of word-of-mouth buzz.

But your deals, discounts, and offerings won’t matter if students don’t know you exist.

That’s where Hub City Fest comes in.

There’s no other event during the first weeks of school that gives businesses and organizations direct access to thousands of Texas Tech students—right on campus.

Successful past exhibitors have:

  • Created fun, interactive booths
  • Offered free samples or mini-experiences
  • Handed out coupons or exclusive deals
  • Sponsored giveaways or raffles
