This event brings together faculty, advisors, and representatives from every academic college—along with the University Career Center—in one centralized location.

Before You Arrive:

Purpose and goals of the Majors & Minors Fair
The purpose of the Majors and Minors Fair is to provide a coordinated, student-centered opportunity for undergraduate Red Raiders to explore academic pathways across the university. By bringing together representatives from all academic colleges and the University Career Center, the fair increases student awareness of program options, clarifies academic expectations, supports informed decision-making, and strengthens connections between colleges, advising units, and student success initiatives. The event serves as an accessible point of engagement for students at any stage of their academic journey, encouraging early conversations that contribute to persistence, timely degree progress, and long-term career readiness.
The Majors and Minors Fair aims to:
- Increase undergraduate students understanding of majors, minors, certificates, and academic opportunities across all colleges.
- Provide opportunities for students to connect with faculty, advisors, and career representatives in a centralized space.
- Support students in clarifying their academic and professional goals through discussion and exploration.
- Encourage informed decisions that contribute to persistence and timely degree completion.
- Strengthen collaboration among academic colleges, advising units, and student success partners to better support undergraduate success.
How can we participate?
Academic colleges and departments that offer undergraduate majors or minors are invited to participate in the Majors and Minors Fair by hosting a table staffed by knowledgeable representatives who can speak to their programs, requirements, and opportunities.
To keep the event focused on undergraduate academic exploration and to ensure space for academic units, support resources, professional programs, and graduate programs will not participate in this event.

Registration
Colleges and departments can register to participate by completing the Majors & Minors Fair Table Request Form. The deadline to register is Tuesday, February 3, 2026.
Once submitted, the planning team will review your form and follow up if any additional information is needed. If you ever need to confirm whether your college/department has already submitted the form, feel free to email studentengagement@ttu.edu and we can check the submission list for you. Reminder emails will be sent one week before the event and again the day before.
After your participation is confirmed:
- Setup instructions and event logistics will be provided
- Marketing materials and key event updates will be shared as the fair approaches
Day-of Expectations
- Arrive during the designated setup time to prepare your table
- Staff your table for the full duration of the event
- Ensure materials are accessible and representatives are ready to engage with students
- Notify the planning team as soon as possible if your area is unable to attend
