Undergraduate Scholarships and Fellowships

There are several scholarships that you as an incoming or a current undergraduate student may apply for.  Some of these scholarships are strictly reserved for students majoring in economics, and some are available for all majors, including economics.  

Scholarships for Students Majoring in Economics Only

Every academic year, the Scholarship Committee in the Department awards the following scholarships to students majoring in economics.  Some of these scholarships are awarded on competitive basis, and some are awarded on competitive/need-based basis.  These scholarships were made possible by the generous donations by friends and alumni of the Department.  Combining the spring 2022 and the fall 2022/spring 2023 academic year, 38 undergraduate students majoring in economics will have benefited from these scholarships. Average award is $1,026 per student per year.  To qualify for these scholarships, students must complete ECO 2301, ECO 2302, ECO 3311, and ECO 3312.

Scholarsips For All Students, Including Economics Majors
